Episode 4 --Hard time

It's was a hard time for all of us after day 3, this is because the Module is started in a few more days. Module 1 & 2 is about Character Building...in module 1 the National Service want us to learn how to represent the best in ourselves...It was hard time at first beacuse, the atmosphere is kind of "class" like culture, and it is almost true. I was teached by Cikgu Harzol in the Moulde 1. To start the class, almost everyday, we will have to pick our own leader . We willdo our own secret PEMETAAN VISUAL everyday from Day 1 of the class to Day 8(The last day). In that class, we also learn our lesson through video. I don't quit remember the character names but it really teach me a lot when I think back now for the first module. Furthermore, it is sometimes quit boring to all of us there beacuse we play childdish game and some even slept in the class while the lesson is on. We even have our class Cheering.

In the evening, we will have to go for theory class for about a months before really playing the Flying Fox, Kayaking and etc. On the first day of the theory class it is kind of boring because we learn about the type of boats and how to do rakit. At that time 90% of the people is homesick because wanted to go home. And the good things is that after a few week later some of us including me will back to hometown for Ching Ming. After a few weeks later I really go back to Sarikei with Ah lung, etc. Before we went back that day, we really feel really happy like being release from the jails. I even still keep the bus tickets till now. It is Borneo Bus ticket. Haha

Episode 3-More new friend More new challenges in the camp

On the 3rd Day, when all our us have the same kind of head(Bold shiny Head), we was told to ready because we will be receiving our uniform, boots, Sport T-Shirt and etc of for 1st time. While some others still trimming their hair, Jimmy and I are waiting for our call to get our Uniform. Before the time came, I was called to the hall as christian. At that time, when I walked to the hall and arrived to the hall with Kelvin, Arnold and Tze Kang. We will suprise with the numbers with the total amount of christian which is in the camp. Thanks to God! Amen. I was estimate that about half of the people in the camp was christian. In that small briefing, we are asked to written our name on a blank paper for our domination like for Tze Kang, Ah Chow, Ah Lung and I are Methodist Christian. Before I came to the camp, my church pastor already told me that when I am in Bintulu, we will go to EMC (Emmanuel Methodist Church). So at that time, I was certainly not suprise to know about the place that I will be going after arriving Bintulu for NS. Less speaking about it...when it is over I walked back to the dome again.

Speed up the clock.On that very day, while waiting for the uniform in the hall for our call...I met this badminton guy again. That this moment, Jimmy erm sitting quit far away from me and so do Qi Yang. I asked him to introduce himself, so he told me his name is Kim Siang (later he was nicknamed King). At the first time when I started to speak with his guy, I thought he was a samseng because on the first day when i saw him at the hall, he have dye his hair with yellow colour but he actually wasn't the guy that I was imagine.Haha. After he introduce himself, he also told me that he is from Limbang. Okay...that place is quit far from Bintulu. Later on this guy started to boost about his perfect sucess in his school. I tried to stop him when he lecturer me for about 10minutes. Shouldn't talking be fun?! like me and Mr. Jimmy? This was my thought at that time. After I receive the uniform, I headed to the dome with Jimmy and Qi Yang.

When we are in the dome again...Jimmy told his story to me again. In a loud sound, " I never thought this camp have a good facilites!" later on he lower down his voice. Bla~ Bla~ Bla~ we talked about Junaco Park Camp at Sibu, Miri Camp and etc. In the evening, I was introduce to a new friend called Soon Chen aka Eric. He actually live in BL8 but he decided to immigrate to BL10. At that time, he was a good friend to Qi Yang. So I decided to test him for the 1st time. Haha. I told to Eric that, if he want to immigrate to BL10, he supposed to take his thingy to BL10 by himself. I knew that BL8 locker was very bad because on the 1st day, I also walked into BL8 and have a look for fun. That why I settle at BL10 at last. This Eric guy like to play Sudoku. So...Gamabteh to him at that time. At that time I haven't decided to test Qi Yang. SO haha...

On that night, we were given briefing about the code uniform that we will use for the later days in the camp...Below are the code

Form 6 is most simplest and general thing in life...

Okay while thinking about my physics for the whole day....This thought struck my mind ,so I need to type is out now. Agree or Disagree? Depend on you... Okay if we rethink our study life , the subject that we learn in the past; It all emerge as one in Form 6 general subjects. Why does I label it as general. Looking it from a bigger scope, additional math and math is emerge as a MATH in form six, Original Science is divide into Bio, Chem and Physics. So now I chose Physics and Chemistry. English become MUET, which only have to test one time not like in the past need to test thousand time. No Malay but Pengajian Am (most about own general knowledge). So it will test mostly on general knowledge rather than Malay as a language.

Life is actually become simple:
1. Pengajian Am
2. Physics
3. Chemistry
4. Math
5. MUET

Which mean next year if without MUET only left 4 subjects to focus.
Thinking SPM which is in 10 subjects....erm STPM 4 subjects, Yeah STPM should look easily so must be tough....

Life Theory:
As life get easily from time to time, things become harder harder to understand.

GAME OVER! That's what I feel for my Physics subject. I knew what teacher teach but when every time I tried to do some question, I couldn't manage to do it. Sigh...I don't know whether it is my love toward Chemistry subject or not; but once I was given a Physics question, even a easy one (since many manage to do it) I couldn't do it. I know this sound like I am lossing hope and almost give up....but I still want to achieve what I want to achieve in the test. May God help me....I am admire by Chyn Rong smartest at Phy everytime a school...sigh....Haiz....

-Damn Hard! You have to imagine how things work if not. You cannot answer that question well.

63% for chem, a starting point for Form 6

63% for my 3rd Chem Topical Test embark my starting point for Form Six. When received my chemistry paper, I was shocked and happy at one point because what I study all worth it. Furthermore, I think this is because I compete with Chyn Rong for the test. Haha : )However, every good things will emerge a tension in me. While telling this is my sis, my eldest sis said I have to continue to study hard beacuse in the family , I am the only one which achieve such mark in Chemistry. Some things go for my 2nd sister too. At this current point, I have a healhty stress in me I think.Haha~

For my current status I need to improve my own knowledge for the first two chapter...so gambateh to me! Jia you!

Episode 2-Who are you? A new friend...

Yeah! Finally it over. Now, after the registration, we have to wait for our call to dome (Sleeping place). A few minutes later, "wira and wirawati sila bahagi kepada company masing masing!". After that, we follow the officer to our dome from the hall. On the way, everybody turn their head 180 degree to the east and the west. Before we reach our dome, we have to go up a mountain like road and the happy thing is that the bilik rehat have ASTRO.

When reach the dome, I was asked to go to BL8, BL9 or BL10. Then I chose BL10 which is the nearest the outside. Haha. Walk into and I walk to left and the right to chose my sleeping place. Then I settle a bed which is located 2 bed away form the door. At that time, I look to my east, and saw a boy with his spectales on playing his like GPRS handphone. (*That guy later become my friend later in the story, haha) . A few minutes later, a chubby boy walk into the dome. Then he choose the bed next to my left. Later I asked for his name,and he told me that his name is Jimmy Goh.Then I countinued asking him where did he come from....he replied Miri. Furthermore, I was told by Jimmy that at that time there are about 3 buses from Miri coming to this camp. At that time, I felt that Sarikei have only 2 buses coming to the camp but not bad already. Haha. Later on. we talked about playstation two and cars. After that talk, we decided to help each other like keeping each other locker key and etc. Don't want to booast about it.

Speed up the time, okay now is about 5.00pm, and we are called to eat in the hall. At this time, Sarikei people still sit with sarikei people, Miri with the Miri, Sibu with the Sibu and etc. We still haven't commit to our company at that time.After we ate, we have to hear a long long briefing about National Service. Later that we ate our supper and heading back to our dome. At that time, Jimmy is the only new friend I knew. In that briefing we are told to be ready about the hair tomorrow. Everybody "sigh..." hearing that at that time. At that time the 2nd bus from sarikei have arrived. A boy later with a racket on his hand came in...but we told him there were no place for him here(He later also become a friend of us two)

Day 2 at that camp, Jimmy decide to draw out 60 lines which represent 60 days in the camp. On the morning, we are asked to hear another briefing. I was tired of hearing it because it is sure long.Fast foward, in the evening at about2-3pm after I ate at the hall, we are ready to bold our head. Jimmy at that time always telling me I don't want to cut my hair because I have history with it.Haha. He told me that while we are in the dome. So we decided to walk out for a look. We saw a guy which have a quite expensive hair(about RM50), and he don't want to cut. He kept on covering his head with his hand. (later he was called with a nickname Miri) While talking, I saw a boy that I say before which play with his GRPS-like handphone. He look friendly, so Jimmy and I mix with him. Later he introduce himself as Lee Qi Yang. So I just called him Ah Yang ever since. Later Jimmy ask him which company are you from, he respond with a smile on his face, "Alpha". So Jimmy countinued asking where do you sleep? Then he show the dome, with a shoc k BL10! the place we both stay. Thinking back I feel funny because we suppose to know we already sleep together for a day and just know each other at the 2nd day. 2nd day, knew two new friend. Qi Yang and Jimmy. I feel very happy already at that time but don't want to express it. That 2nd day, at about 4.30pm, three of us own a bold head and we even took photo for our memory.

It is night, so we are again heading to the hall for our dinner and the briefing. We are introduce to our company teachers. Sigh...it boring because NS have 4 company all together. So it take time.At that time, I just felt want to go home. At about 10.45pm, we heading back to our dome to sleep.

PLKN Story-Episode 1(First Arrival to Kem Semilijau)

Episode 1-First Arrival to Kem Semilijua

On the 19th March 2009, I heading towards the Sarikei terminal bus at about 6.15am just to avoid the long queue later on. After I register myself with the officer of National Service (but they are actually the so call cikgu after that) , I quickly sms to Arnold and asked him to quickly come to the the terminal because after I have registered at the point, many people of my age have appear at my back. We have being given Borneo Bas to go to Kem Semilijau, Bintulu. After a few minutes, I saw Eileen appear first, later Arnold and lastly follow by Grace. We are on the first bas going to the kem. Where as Zhin Liang, Amy ling, Ting Siong Chow(ah Chow) and Kelvin is on the 2nd Bas. On the bus, I sat next to Arnold. Before he go to National Service, he really did already express many things to me on the bus while we are on the bus there. Fast Foward the time...

While our first bus is almost near the half ways towards Bintulu, I sms Amy ling. She said that the 2nd bus haven't depart and it was 12pm this is beacuse they are waiting for not "will not come" comers. Ah...after sms that and sleep for a while, we arrive BINTULU! Haha...In the few minutes, we pass by bintulu bus terminal we arrive at Kem Semilijau. We saw the selamat datang sign board of the kem. Vroom Vroom...the bus....to the kem. The bus later put us off. We later get our language and register ourselves after that. That registeration take for hours and I won't touch about it but only the last few parts. We can given the chance to tried the shoes and cap for the kem. Before the testing, the Kem Kommander, assign me to Alpha Company, whereas Arnold to Delta Company. At that time, I was the only people from Sarikei who being chosen to assign as a members of the Alpha Compnay. Later after that, we have our back check and our medicine was taken by the officer. At that time we really didn't knew why the medicine is taken away.

Conflict in me

I think many people can saw a little change in me after PLKN. This is beacuse in PLKN, there are a lot of cases happen which impact my life today. Thinking back, all the ALPHA company at Kem Semilijau face the same problem as well. I still remember until today that Kim(King) in our company almost being beaten by the "sarjan" in our company. ( more in PLKN Stories<> ). Thinking of that change the way I talk to most of my friend, whether is younger than me or the same age group. Furthermore, I am a bit stress now because will given to be the ahli of AJK backdrop for malam sekalung budi pegawas and there will be a lot of job to do after this. Furthermore, I must increase my Chemistry knowldege at the current time. Few, tomorrow again I will gonna face two topical test again PA(K) and PA(J). In PA test in a day...PLUS! MORE MORE STRESS...

Before I go to NS in the past, I tried to unleashed my speaking style in a normal way but was effected during NS training because *lot of horrible thing I see and learn from the incident in National Service, People are not what we think but we must follow them to get in the dark society. National Service, I think la...is different from most of the kem in the country. This is beacuse PLKN is Malaysia and not one certain body that we can see it as a simple pie. Thus, my friend in NS, I know you also learn a lot from Marcus and some from Brian, the Iban guy and the Malay Sarawakian and even the semenanjung Malay. I can tell they are totally different person!
Because of them, today I have think thrice to think what they have said and what will the society said when you are in a society which is full of different people.

In SMK. St. Anthony, the monopoly people are the Chinese so most of my friends who didn't active in kem will not surely know how to blend into the REAL society because what you see and mix are the same colour people friends. That's actually is unhealthy.


Sigh....it haven't over in me....

Still evolving....in my mind set....it was easy the road that I have just taken a few month ago....

Understanding....Stress....Passion....Conflict.....

As expected! Ahli Biro perhimpunan again...

Ahli BIRO PERHIMPUNAN as expected when being chose as a prefect again this year. My Ah Duai is Darrel (Biro Penasihat Perhimpunan)... Damn! I want to try other stream but teachers didn't want to give me. But nevermind, a jodoh menjadi Biro Perhimpunan again. Thanks God! I didn't being chosen as an Exco in the Lembaga Pegawas because I know they will be a lot of job ahead if being chosen. Furthermore, I think God know that I have being chosen to NS(National Service) and already have a nice full mark for my Ns Corriculum Column, so need to let other s who are not being chosen to the NS to be in Exco in the pegawas board...Take for example, Darrel, Why Choung and Chyn Rong, they weren't being choose as a pelatih to National Service...So God gave them a chance to learn new things and a good leader..Who know?! haha

Tomorrow I have upgrade one level liao, need to wear blazer to school. And by the way Lam Zang Hui have back to Sarikei. However he is not welcome to the Pegawas meeting just now cos now he is an "outsider". The Ex-Ketua Pegawas halau him out from the dewan kuliah just now...That why my advice to my friends who study outside...don't be too "Gepo" even though you are an ex-student.

Tomorrow I will have a Chemistry test and I wanted to beat Chnyn Rong...Bye

The last one...

Everyday I will said to myself this is the last test that I must pass with flying colour and then go to obtain the courses that I like such as Chemical Engineering or Chemist. Even though now I feel like Math "T" a bit difficult so do Physics, but life must go on. Thus, I am frust with PA(s)...because need to draw and make a nice table and data for the graph. But nevermind, this is just the beginning of the hardship. Just like Form 4 & 5 in the past. I have a vision to create a Eco-friendly plastic (or eco-plastic ) in the future. That's why I tend to love chemistry more than usual.Haha. Furthermore, while studying at school, some of the time I taught of PLKN that I have gone through in the past and question myself....Does it actually teach me sometime? I still remember Module 2 in the pembinaan character series while in NS. My jurulatih tell us that if you can dare to touch and do a things toward a goal, it will certainly come true to you. He even took example that, without the dream he dreamt in the past and the will to get it, he won't got a proton car. That actually really taught me sometime today to obtain the things or dream you one, you must dare to have a will to get in by berusaha .
*Friends from NS, I heard that our company diraja already being taken by other company after we are out from the camp. Haha...OKay back to the topic and can really said that If you want to get 4A just go for it and never fall before it.
